About your stay
The Old Milking Parlour is a fully self catered stay. Tea and coffee, milk and sugar are provided on arrival, along with basic staples.
Fresh bed linen and towels are included, along with a hairdryer and free wifi throughout.
Our guests can enjoy the TV with fire stick in the lounge area, as well as a radio.
Numerous footpaths can be accessed directly from the property, with a walk to the village taken by the direct route, or the scenic route across the fields.

The owners welcome you to The Old Milking Parlour.
We live on site and moved to the property 12 years ago, along with numerous animals and our two boys.
Our youngest son enjoys helping with the changeovers, with the washing being his speciality!

Fully prepped stays
We converted The Old Milking Parlour and now offer it to you as a fully prepped stay. We hope to offer everything that you need for a truly comfortable stay, so that you can simply relax during your stay.
We can be on hand for local knowledge and recommendartions.

Local area
Within the local area you'll find two pubs, a garage, a coffee shop, village shop and recreation ground, offering free tennis. You'll need to book a court through the village shop. Batemans, former home of Rudyard Kipling, is a 1 min drive or a 5 min walk.
The coast is within a 30 minute drive, where you'll find the scenic sandy beaches of Normans Bay, Pevensey Bay and Birling Gap. Camber Sands and Rye Nature Reserve is a 40 min drive. The Old Towns of Hastings and St Leonards on Sea or Bexhill on Sea are a 30 min drive.
Glyndebourne Opera House is a 30 min drive - offering seasonal opera and fine dining experiences for a truly exceptional experience to remember.
Battle Abbey is a 20 minute car drive, positioned within the historic market town of Battle, which offers boutique shopping needs.
The are golf clubs at Dale Hill only a 15 min drive away, with private recreation facilities.
